This is a journey of nature and love. Even though it is a journey to the top of the world, Everest, it is a journey to the bottom," Nepal guide Silwal said, "This is not just a travelogue, it is an Everest dialogue with Jennifer in mind and Julie in geography. It is also a document of the feelings of many Himalayans like porters who come in between, old men with broken teeth and many travelers who have come to Mount Everest from many countries around the world.'
'Everest' is Silwal's fifth book. Silwal's previous publications include 'Kalam', which explores journalism, 'Lekhak Duniyaan', which explores the intricacies of literature, 'Sri Lanka Smriti', which contains the sweetest moments of travel, and 'App Deepo Bhavah', a spiritual-centered Kailash book.
