program, Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that author Parajuli has presented events and topics that are not easily found in history through books. He says that the book has made Bakhansingh Gurung's high contribution come alive in history.
Congress joint general minister Jeevan Pariyar says that the party should formally honor Bakhansingh Gurung, who has contributed significantly to the development and migration of Chitwan's slums.
Narrator Amar Neupane, while discussing the book, said that 'Bakhan' has managed to cover the events that many books have missed during the political changes. Neupane said that the author has presented the political journey from the 2007 change to the Panchayat, the struggle of the Nepali Congress, the phase of socialism of BP Koirala and the pain experienced by Gurung after the death of his two sons. Bakhan is a narrative that includes many ups and downs of his life, i.e. rough journey from being a soldier to being a minister, family separation and political confrontation. The
