Tirtha Gurung's novel 'Hiunko Geet' has received the Kavidanda National Narrative Award of 2081. The amount of this prize is one lakh 25 thousand rupees in cash. Kavidanda Sahitya Samaj, a literary organization located in Chitwan Bharatpur Metropolitan City-5, has been awarding the best stories, i.e. stories, novels published throughout the year since 2075.
LB Chhetri, president of Kavidanda Sahitya Samaj, said that Tirtha Gurung's novel 'Hiunko Geet' used magical reality and highlighted the faded identity of the Gurung community with a compelling narrative. The society issued a press release on Thursday and informed that the date and place of awarding will be announced later.
Initially, this prize of 30 thousand rupees has been given since 2079 with an amount of 1 lakh 25 thousand rupees. Mahesh Thapa's story collection 'Marichika', Shyam Shah's story collection 'Pather', Bhuvan Dhungana's novel 'Parityakta', Lokraj Bhatt's novel 'Chai' have received this award so far.
Dr. After a quarter of a million rupees. Devi Prasad Subedi's novel 'Manu' and last year Krishna Gautam's novel 'Advaita' got this award.
