Poet/narrator Vishwa Sigdel's collection of poems 'Pale Shadows at Dusk' was launched in Kathmandu on Saturday. In the program organized by the current poetry group, multilingual poetry reading and poetic dialogue turned the atmosphere into a literature festival.

After the launch, the chief guest of the program on the book "Pale Shadows at Dusk" translated from Nepali to English and German. Hemraj Kafle and Dr. Balaram Adhikari expressed his views. In the event, poets Chandra Bahadur Lama and Rami Priya also shared their views on Sigdel's poems and books. 

Kafle, while discussing the sensitive and emotional writing style of poet Sigdel, commented that the collection covers the subtle levels of human feelings and experiences. He also presented the beautiful patterns of the poems in the collection and said that Sigdel's poems contain poetic elements in a beautiful way.

Adhikari commented on the thematic depth of the book and its importance in contemporary poetry. "The translation of Nepali literature should be carried out with the cooperation of writers and translators," he said.  The special attraction of the

release program was poetry reading in both English and German languages.

Poet Rajni Mila, Harish Adhikari, Bhishma Upreti and Abhay Shrestha recited Vishwa Sigdel's English poems, while Nishan Belbase, Sakrit Sigdel, Sevika Limbu and Pratishka Dahal recited Sigdel's translated poems in German. 

Poet Sigdel spoke about his creative journey. The poet gave special thanks to the English translator Stormi Hazarika and its German translator Svenya for 25 poems selected from the poems translated into English in the year 2008/9 while studying in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. "Pale Shadows at Dusk is an introspection and observation of the outside world," said Sigdel.  In the

program, poet Dhir Kumar Shrestha said that the height of Sigdel's poetry is unique in literature.
