Uma Subedi, the author of half a dozen books including the novel 'Toda', the collection of stories 'Sayun Putli', the narrative work 'Paridhi' was launched in Kathmandu on Saturday.

program, writer Kumari Lama said that "Paridhi" is a unique narrative that takes the ground of reality along with the abundance of imagination. She commented that the writer has widened the scope of the writing by adopting a different style from the mainstream writing.

Similarly, another writer Keshav Dahal said that 'Paridhi' is a new but unique work in terms of structure . He said that the imagery has been used beautifully in this story and mentioned that the writer's refined craft will keep the reader engaged from the beginning to the end. 

artist Gauri Malla said that she has never read a Nepali narrative in a new and powerful style like 'Paridhi' and said that the characters of this book also reflect her somewhere. She also recited a poem in the program and said that the character of this story forced her to think again about things like right and wrong, good and bad, right and wrong. He believed that the supernatural world of 'Peridhi' would hypnotize all readers.   Subedi, the author of the book

, said that the story she wanted to tell required a more specific style than usual, so she used the style of story. Subedika has previously published Tapkier Anjuli (ghazal collection), Tirsana Chalaru (song collection), Toda (novel), Iti (novel) and Sayuun Putli (story collection).

Subedi's third story is published by Shangrila Books.
