The names of the best five books for the Padma Shri award have been announced

Out of the 203 books received in the first stage for selection, 15 books were published on June 15th. A list of five books has been published out of them.

The list of five best books for this year's Padma Shri award has been published.

Khemlal Harikala Lamichhane Foundation has published the list on Thursday. Among the five books included in the list are one narrative, one non-narrative, one Niatra and two novels. 

Public books include Chuden Kavimo's Urmaal (narrative), Ramesh Bhusal's Chalabato (non-narrative), Bhavani Khatiwada's Praman Sagarmatha (Niyatra), Saraswati Pratishka's novel Swa and Tirtha Gurung's novel Snow Song.  Out of the 203 books received in the first stage for

The president of the foundation, Jiva Lamichhane, has informed that the short list of five books out of those 15 has been announced for the Padma Shri best award on Thursday. From this list, one book will be selected for the Padma Shri award.
