Literary writer Harak Yakso Limbu has been awarded in the literary program organized on the occasion of Bhanu Jayanti.
Yakso, a resident of Atharai Triveni Rural Municipality, Hangpang, was awarded with the 'Chandra Maden 'Anchan' Literary Award' with 20,000 rupees. Suroj Maden, a professor of Nepal Music and Drama Academy, presented the prize money to Yakso along with a certificate of appreciation. It is mentioned that Kanchenjunga Literary Foundation has been awarded in the recommendation and evaluation. According to Kamal Prasad Bhattarai, president of
foundation, the basis of evaluation was based on the published work books received from various authors and creators. A selection and evaluation committee was formed with leading writer Bharat Kumar Gurung as the coordinator for the selection of the authors.
writer Yaksoka Paitalaka Dobharu including three published works were proposed for evaluation. Along with award distribution, two dozen writers of the district recited their works.
