A woman died in a bus collision in Shuklaphanta Municipality-1 Bansaha of Kanchanpur. The police said that 55-year-old Dropati Bhatt, a local, died.

According to DSP Sagar Bohra of District Police Office Kanchanpur, a woman who was injured in a collision with a bus numbered Su P 001 B 929 coming from Belauri towards Kaluwapur died during treatment at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi. According to him, the bus overturned while trying to save the woman.
