Former Chairman and former Secretary of Public Service Commission Umesh Prasad Mainali's administrative memoirs 'Suneko Gohan: Suffering Administration' has been launched. Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut launched the book at a function organized in the capital.
Chief Justice Raut said that Mainali had written a book about the long period of the administrative region of Nepal. "Writing a book factually covering such a long period of the administrative region of Nepal is a challenge in itself," he said, "This book is a true memoir history of Nepal's administration."
Former Chief Election Commissioner Bhojraj Pokharel said that the main incidents of governance and administration since 2007, ups and downs, various scandals have been covered in Mainali's book. He said that the effects of those events and the role of the characters are also included in the book. Commenting on the
book, journalist Hari Bahadur Thapa said, 'Books like this have not been written in the administrative sector. This book has given inspiration for building a strong and advanced society by exposing the weaknesses within the administrative sector. This book is beneficial for people in the field of civil administration as it has historical and factual themes to maintain good governance by doing their duty and leaving aside gossip, flattery and gossip.' Thapa said that Mainali's book is written in a simple and exciting language and the reader will feel a sense of fixation when reading it.
The book covers the administrative events from the establishment of democracy to the constitution of republican Nepal, the administrative reorganization of 2007 that laid the foundation of modern administration, the administrative instability of the interim period, the administrative reform of the first elected government, the Panchayat administrative state and the political administration since 2046 have been discussed.
