Chinnalata Song Award Guthi has honored 5 creators.
On the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of senior lyricist Ramola Devi Shah 'Chhinnalata', Guthi has honored lyricist Rajendra Rizal, composer Achyutprasad Phuyal (Abhas) and singer Ranabhakta Jojiju and singer Itu Jojiju with 'Chinnalata Song Award-2081' by organizing a program in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Lyricist Rizal and Musician Phuyal were presented with one lakh rupees and a certificate by Speaker Devraj Ghimire and Chairman of Guthi, Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi awarded . Similarly, singer/singer Jojijudway was jointly honored with one lakh in cash and a certificate.
Likewise, SD Yogi has been awarded 'Chinnalata Geet Yuva Pratibha Award-2081' with 50,000 cash and certificate.
Chinnalata Song Award Guthi was established in the year 2039 with the aim of awarding the creators who have made a significant contribution to the field of Nepali song/music. So far, Guthi has honored 190 creators.
