Poet and lyricist Yuvraj Adhikari's poetry collection 'Yuddh, Yudh Nai Hore' has been released.
In a special program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, APEC Nepal President Bishwa Vimohan Shrestha, poet Tulsi Diwas, MP Amresh Kumar Singh, film director and writer Prakash Sayimi and others launched the book. In the
program, actor and Captain Vijay Lama recited the top poem of Kavi Adhikari's collection of poems 'Yuddh, Yudh Nai Hore'. Poems of officers recorded in his voice were also presented in the program.
Commenting on the critical poem, Chief Guest and Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Pandey commented that the poet Yuvraj Adhikari's top poem 'carries the contemporary voice of the contemporary world and war cannot be accepted in any way'. In the
event, actor Nikhil Uprati also recited a poem by Kavi Adhikari entitled 'Zindagi Ishta Ta Ho Kancha'. Movie director and writer Prakash Sayami shed light on Kavi Adhikari's overall poetry journey.
Kavi Adhikari himself commented on his own poetry and said that 'poetry should be able to carry the fragrance of its soil'. The officer also recited some of his poems.
MP Amresh Kumar Singh, Mahesh Basnet and others were present as the main attraction of the program was the staging of Kavi Adhikari's poem 'Zindaavad aur Murdaavad ko sahar kohi panaech' directed by artist Birendra Hamal.
