Sarala Joshi's story collection 'Sapnako Desh' was released on Saturday.
The collection of stories was released in a program hosted by writer Saraswati Rizal at the assembly hall of Chitwan Sahitya Parishad in Narayangadh. Joshi, a resident of Narayangadh, has previously published three works including novels, ghazals and poetry collections. There are 15 stories in Sapnako Desh. Reviewer Saman Pahad commented that the stories of the
collection included different roles of women. Out of the 15 stories, in almost all the stories, different characters of female characters have been raised. Only in seven or eight stories do the male characters appear a bit stronger. Women have been presented as competent, worthy and struggling characters,' said critic Saamna. She said that you can read the modest struggle of women in the story.
Another reviewer, Uday Adhikari, noted that the language of the story is simple, the characters and subjects of Narayangarh region And he said that he was trying to include the voices of marginal groups. The stories are good. But instead of advancing the character of the character, sometimes the writer tries to keep his opinion. There is also a sense that it has been made explanatory and a little more filmic,' said the officer.
