Prakash Panthi's novel 'Mahbi Mika' has been discussed along with the launch. In the event held in Kathmandu on Sunday, writer/reviewer Rajkumar Baniyan and Gurung Sushant, journalist Deepak Sapkota and Dr. Dadhiram Panthi discussed the book.
Baniyan said that although the novel is pragmatic, it is readable due to the language and excellent writing. He said that the novel has come in a new style by rejecting the traditional story reading.
Sushant said that Mahbi Mika's language is very strong. He openly praised the writing style that arouses curiosity. While reading the book, the poetic language pulls. Sometimes it seems like poetry is inclined towards spirituality,' he said .
Journalist Sapkota said that the novel has a different flavor from traditional writing. He said, 'Novel design is different . Like Gulmohar looking beautiful from a distance!'
Lecturer Panthi said that Mahabi Mika has come as a novel to be read not only in Diaspora literature but also in Nepali literature. He said, "The writer has satirized the social disorders and anomalies through the novel".
The writer Pant, who is currently living in Australia, shared his experience of writing a novel in two weeks. The novel is published by Indiga Inc.
