Thirteen works of Nepali literature have been translated into Chinese language and selected for sale and distribution in China. An agreement has been reached between the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and the National Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China.
Dr. Dhanprasad Subedi, member secretary of Nepal Pragya-Pratishan, informed that 13 works of Nepali literature have been selected according to the bilateral agreement regarding the translation and publication of classical texts of the two countries.
During the visit of the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal in 2080, an agreement was reached between the Ministry of Culture of Nepal and the publication of China. According to the agreement, Lakshmi Prasad Devkota's 'Lakshmi Nibandha Sangraha', Daulatvikram Bista's 'Chewed Face', Bhishma Upreti's 'Himalayan, Sherpa and Yeti', Baburam Acharya's 'Brief Account of Nepal', Dr. Hark Gurung's 'Nepal as I See', Dhruv Chandra Gautam's 'Alikhit', Dr. Raju Adhikari's 'Isto Hos Lifestyle', Sarubhakta's 'Chuli', Sulochana Manandhar's 'Jeevan Mata Jeevan Sikaun', Satya Mohan Joshi's 'Kalakar Araniko', Manjul's 'Jane Hoin Dai Aalapot?', Janaklal Sharma's 'Our Samaj Ek Adhyayan' and Dor Bahadur Bisht's 'Sabai Jaatko Phulbari' have been selected.

Similarly, 13 Chinese books have also been translated into Nepali language and selected for publication. 'Si Chinfeng's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era', 'Seventy Years of New China', 'The Origins of Chinese Civilization', 'The Annotated Critical Laozi', 'Selected Stories of Jia Dasan', 'Why and How the CPC Works in China', 'White Deer Plain', 'Red Sargam', 'Translation and Annotation of the Book Yak Chuangzi', 'The Straw House', 'The Magic Guard', 'Eastern and Western Cultures and Philosophies' and 'A Brief History of Ancient Chinese Architecture' have been selected, the foundation said. A Nepal China Joint Expert Committee has also been formed to translate the
book. It is chaired by the chancellor of the institution, Bhupal Rai. Likewise, the members include Dr. Dhanprasad Subedi, Member Secretary of the Foundation, Dr. Krishnaraj Adhika, member of the Academic Council, The members of the academic council are Hansawati Kurmi and Dr. Bestish Shrestha.
