Writer and journalist Laxman Viyogi's collection of stories 'Satyam' has been launched. Prada Dayaram Shrestha, Prada Govindraj Bhattarai, Dr. Samalochakdway at Nepal Pragya Foundation on Saturday. Ashok Thapa and Anupama Regmi, Sahitya Akademi Award-winning critic Gyan Bahadur Chhetri jointly launched the book.
Prada Shrestha said that because of the birth of Viyogi's new story work 'Satyam' in Nepali literature, not only the number of works has been increased but also a collection of excellent stories has come. He said that these stories can leave a new impression on the reader.
Prada Bhattarai opined that Satyam has come to Nepali literature as an intense and excellent collection of stories. Journalist Dr. Thapa said that those who are in the journalism profession have brought out the topics that could not and could not be written in news and features in such a way that they are reflected in the stories. He said that Satyam also raised issues such as family disintegration, foreign employment and its impact on the society.
Regmi, another critic, said that in Viyogi's
, the Maoist conflict of the past, the use of local language, western folk songs and culture, love, environment, etc.
Awarded by Sahitya Akademi Award, Chhetri told the story of the bereaved, who had already established himself as a successful lyricist in the song 'Himallai Dhakyo Kancha Igko Pachaurire..'. He opined that Viyogi's multi-modal talent has now been revealed through stories. In the field of literature, apart from stories, this is the first story work of Viyogi, who has been writing essays, poetry, poetry and songs.
'Whether I become a storyteller or a writer,' he said, 'The biggest thing is that many people have done for me and I am in this place today because of that guideline, I am grateful to everyone. It is enough that I did not know Satyam, Satyam knows me.'
