Speaking at an event in the capital on Saturday, critic Rajkumar Baniyan said that the novel published in 2081  He mentioned that Adyopat is a must-read book. Similarly, journalist Deepak Sapkota said that Buddha experienced stress in his life and despite that, he attained merit. 'Buddha was in search of Buddhahood, the writer of Arhat is in search of Buddha, books help to know Buddha,' he said, 'How can a flower bloom on the path of thorns? You have to read this book to know.'

author Bhuvanhari Sigdel said that when writing as a Buddha, as a Buddha character, one must enter inside. He added, 'This book is Buddha's autobiography.'

About a dozen speakers expressed their views on the book. Book reviewer Anita Koirala said that Buddha is presented as an ordinary person and that the book teaches the art of living.  The

book was published by Shikha Books last August. Before this, Adhikari's 'Nirved' novel and 'Brahmastra' collection of stories have been published.
