Poet, lyricist and composer Suman Thapa's new poetry collection 'Abhyudaya' has been released in Kathmandu on Friday.
Kavi Sangam's 84-year-old father Bishnuveer Thapa, three daughters Samika KC, Prachish KC, Krishala KC, grandchildren Arunya KC, Ayangsh KC, Avyanya KC and the poet himself were inaugurated. The poet himself stood on the podium and conducted the program without any frills. The poet's daughter Samika welcomed everyone present. Poet Rami Priya recited a poem from the collection.
Another poet Biswa Sigdel recited 'Ajambari Phool', Sribabu Karki 'After walking in the sun' and Prollas Sindhuliyya recited 'Heartache Bhakt'. These poems are also within the collection. Dr. Shekhar Kumar Shrestha reviewed the work's birth, background, poet's introduction and poetry.
Kavi Sangam recited the poem 'Name written in the sand' and 'Brehat Katha ma ama' requested by Subhash Chandra Paudel from the audience. Earlier, her poetry collection 'Maitigharko Phool' has been published.
