The book of memoirs written by writer Ganesh Prasad Lath, 'Seemant Jakkan', was released at Birganj on Friday.

Author Lath's granddaughter Anishka and grandson Aarab Lath jointly released the book. In a program jointly organized by Nepalaya, Race Khabar, Narayani FM and Pathshala Nepal, the work containing the themes of Birganjeli environment was released in Birganj. 

While reviewing Lath's work, the president of Pathshala Nepal, Balgopal Thapa, said that Lath's fifth work, the Marginal Memory, has given many readers, including himself, vivid information about the multifaceted aspects of Birgunj's history. 

Columnist Chandra Kishore said that the courage of the writer can be seen in the fact that writer Lath has only exposed all the good aspects of Birganj. 

Ashok Temani, president of Madhesh Pradesh Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and writer Lath's childhood friend Ashok Temani, said that since Lath has also included some of his forgotten memories in the book, those moments are fresh in his mind.  Bimal Acharya, editor of

Nepalaya, said that this is Nepalaya's second collaboration with Lath. He also remarked that Lath succeeded in weaving the history and characteristics of Birganj in a seamless manner. 

Mayor Rajeshman Singh of Birgunj Metropolitan City said that Lath's continuous activism and dedication in the field of literature gave him the recognition of an established literary man. Lath has been established as the new jewel of Birganj. He said that he has been familiar with Lath since his childhood and his multifaceted personality has been established through his sports, business, social service and recent literary journey. 

writer Lath said that since the present generation is still ignorant of the history of Birgunj and its glorious saga, he has tried to tell the history of Birgunj to the present generation through the book. He said that he was getting feedback from the readers that some aspects of Virgunj were missing in his work and he promised to come up with 'Seemant Yakanj-2' in the near future after thinking about it. He said that his activity in writing will not decrease and he also expressed his commitment to devote at least 2 decades to literary work.
