The play 'Life of Human Body' prepared by Pokhara's Rainbow Theater has been staged in Japan for the first time. The play was staged on Sunday and Monday by Subterranean Theater in Itabashi, Tokyo, Japan.
Written and directed by Kedar Paudel, the play has Kiran Chapagain as a solo act. Director Poudel said that the play was staged twice on Sunday and once on Monday at the underground theater in Itabasi. According to him, the play has expressed the journey of human life from embryonic stage to death and then towards rebirth through body language. In the
drama without dialogue, various situations of human life are reflected through the body. In the play, director Poudel presented background sound to the music of sarangi. "This play is a deep philosophical and experimental exploration of the human life cycle, the journey from conception to death and rebirth is covered artistically," he said, "while watching the play, one experiences the various stages of life - birth, childhood, youth, old age and death." The
play aims to connect with the fundamental rhythm of creation to embrace the countless waves of life and guide people in the search for peace within the continuity of existence. He said, 'This is not just a play, it is a meditation, a message, and a spiritual journey.' In the interaction held after the
play performance, the Japanese audience responded that they were deeply affected by body language and sound. They said they wanted to see the version with Nepali dialogue.
The play was staged at Nakano Jiro Hall in Tokyo on the occasion of New Year on the occasion of the new year under the auspices of Max Entertainment run by Nepalese. Paudel, who is also the president of Indreni Theater, said that efforts are being made to stage plays in other cities of Japan.
