Kaila was felicitated by citizens on the occasion of the four-day cultural tourism festival organized from Chait 24 to 27 at Singhang, Garigaon, the confluence of Miklajung Rural Municipality-1 and Falgunand Rural Municipality-5 of Panchthar. On the last day of the
festival, Vice President Thakursingh Nembang of Falgunand Rural Municipality honored Kaila and his wife Devkumari Angdembe Nembang by wearing a dosalla. DM Angdembe, chairman of the original organizing committee, handed over a letter of appreciation to Kayla.
Politician and writer Dharmendra Nembang gave a speech about Kaila's biography and contribution in the felicitation event attended by Kaila's family.
Khayali, Hakpare, Dhannach, Keylang, Sakela Sili and cultural dances were presented in Kaila's felicitation program which started with the honor rally with cultural tableau.
Koshi Pradesh The main opposition party leader Indra Angbo inaugurated the festival and various cultural performances including volleyball competition, keylang competition and dance competition were held. The book 'Khauma Mundhum, Yungsa Chokma' written and compiled by Mohanchandra Chemjong was also released at the festival.
