Stakeholders have expressed serious concern that the fertility and fertility of the Madhesh soil is rapidly decreasing. At the beginning of the Madhesh festival, which started in Birganj from Friday, there was a lot of talk about the soil of Madhesh.
The slogan of the festival organized by Utkarsh Nepal is 'Mati Manthan: Literature to protect dreams'. After the opening session, analyst CK Lal discussed Madhesh and the soil of Madhesh for 1 hour in the 'soil fragrance' session.
'The whole creation is in this soil,' he said, 'Once upon a time the center of politics was Simraungadh and Birganj was the economic capital even 4 thousand years ago.' He suggested that literature should be used to protect the truth from the facts. "From soil to soil, soil is source, soil is energy," he said, "Energy can be transformed, it cannot be killed, let's use this energy in literature."
Discussing the literature creation of Madhesh language is still low, Lal also said that new creators can create literature through post-modern literature in Bhojpuri. Shakuntala Joshi was the speaker in the second session, 'Scent of soil, the color of life', and the campaigners who play with and enjoy soil were invited to the stage to discuss about pure soil. Krishna Prasad Paudel of Sindhuli, Sudarshan Chaudhary of Siraha and Lakshman Tharu of Kailali spoke openly about their relationship with soil.
Paudel said that without soil there would be no life. "The soil is dying, we should be ready to die," he said, "1 gram of soil contains more bacteria than a human body, if the soil dies, we cannot live." Organic farming engineer Laxman Tharu said that even though he once did many agitations carrying bombs, he has been doing commercial organic farming for 13 years. "What will happen to this world if the soil dies," he said, "We are bringing soil-killing urea and DAP from across the seven oceans every year, now this should be stopped." Sudarshan Chaudhary, another organic farming operator, said that the soil is dying every year due to human greed and the habit of digging. "Now, we should not kill the soil but cultivate with a spiritual farming system," he said. "It increases the nutrition and purity of the grain."
