'Pauli' discussion in Dharan

Novelist Balika Bantawa's recently released novel 'Pauli' is a feminist novel, the speakers said. Narrator and poet Bina Thing said that Ladimpa, the main character in Payoli, is established as a favorable character. 'It is a narrative because the characters are established. It is established through the character without the narrator saying it directly,' she said. Thing said that the other two main characters in the novel came as negative characters.

He said that Prashant and Upmihang's characters appear to be motivated by selfishness.  ''There are such male characters in the society who have some kind of selfishness to establish relationships. Prashant and Upmihang have come as those characters,' she said.

Another speaker Asmita Bista said that it is important to look at women's psychology when looking at divorce cases. 'Divorce is mentioned in the first chapter of the novel divided into 27 chapters,' she said. She said that this novel can play a role in analyzing why there is a rift in the relationship in Nepali society. 'The environment through Bhojpur, Jhapa, Kathmandu to Hong Kong is expressed beautifully,' she said, 'another excellent aspect of the novel is the simplicity of the language.'

is organized by Kalarav Dharan. In the program, Koshi Member of Parliament Meena Shrestha played the role of Speaker, while novelist Bantawa spoke about various aspects of the novel.
