Hikmat Rawal, a poet from Achham, won the first place in the nationwide poetry competition held in Panchthar's Tumbeva Rural Municipality.

Rawal secured the first place in the poetry competition with a prize money of 50,000 rupees after beating 20 people from different districts who participated in the competition. 

Similarly, Jeevan Aarohi from Udaipur secured the second place and Bhagishwar Teyung from Tehrathum secured the third place. The second runner-up in the competition was awarded Rs 25,000 and the third runner-up Rs 12,500.

In the competition organized on the occasion of the first historical Tumbeva festival, 21 poets who were selected from the 131 selected in the first stage participated in the poetry reading.  The

competition was organized by Korkali Study Center. The judges were played by Ramesh Shavechchu and the creators Munaraj Serma and Sumitra Wangdel. Baburam Khadka, chairman of the village municipality, presented the prize and certificate to the award-winning creator from the seat of the chief guest.
