Diplomat and former foreign secretary Madan Kumar Bhattarai has brought out a new book 'Nepal's Foreign Relations, Transition Period and Prof. Narendramani Dixit'.

Former Chief Justice Kalyan Shrestha, professor and former ambassador Mohan Prasad Lohani, professor Kusum Shakya, journalist and analyst Kanakamani Dixit and author Bhattarai launched the book in a program held on Saturday at Pragya-Pratishthan Double in Kathmandu.

Former Chief Justice Shrestha said that a book has been written in simple language with an objective analysis of the first foreign secretary Narendra Mani Dixit, focusing on the diplomacy of Nepal.

'In the book, the author has carefully collected the material and given us the textual material,' he said, 'This book is useful for keeping information about Nepal's former foreign secretary Narendramani Acharya Dixit.' According to him, this reflects the multifaceted personality of Narendramani Dixit, a mature diplomat and well-versed in administration.

Professor Kusum Shakya said that it is a welcome subject to have such a great work from a Nepali writer in the context of foreigners forming opinions about Nepal's foreign diplomacy. Former ambassador Mohan Prasad Lohani said that Narendramani can be known as a person who believed in Rana period, democracy and panchayat system.

Author Madan Bhattarai said that even though he met for a short time, he studied Narendramani and published the book.
