Relief to the relatives of those who lost their lives in floods and bomb blasts
This year's 'Amar Nembang Limbu Smriti Literary Award and Award' has been given to critic Krishna Dharavasi and poet Swapnil Smriti.
The award was established in the memory of late Amar Nembang, the writer, writer and the then president of Falgunand rural municipality, and was presented to the creator in a program held in Phidim on Saturday.
After the death of Amar Nembang, the then chairman of Phalgunand Rural Municipality, Amar Nembang, established by his members, the 'Amar Nembang Limbu Memorial Foundation' was honored and awarded in a program organized on the occasion of the 6th Memorial Day.
Bhishmaraj Angdembe, the chief guest of the program and the member of the Constituent Assembly and joint general minister of the Congress, presented a two-salla and a certificate of appreciation along with fifty thousand rupees in cash. In the same program,
Foundation has provided fifty thousand rupees in cash as an incentive to our social organization called Sahara Panchthar, which has been distributing relief to citizens affected by calamities.
Similarly, the family members of 15 citizens of Fidim Municipality-9, Falgunand Rural Municipality-2 and Falelung Rural Municipality-4 who lost their lives in floods and landslides due to incessant rains from October 9 to 12 have provided relief of Rs.
Along with this, Anjana Chemjong, who is studying in class 11 of Janakalyan Mavi Phaktep located in Falgunanda-5, has been awarded a Jehendar scholarship of Rs. 15 thousand. After receiving the
award, both authors said that the honor has given them increased responsibility for the development of Nepali literature and social change through writing.
Writer, poet and political figure Amar Nembang passed away on 26th January 2076 after addressing a program organized at Ghurvise Panchami, center of Falgunand Rural Municipality.
On the day of his death, the foundation has been organizing a memorial day, honoring the creator, giving scholarships to Jehendar students and distributing relief to the relatives and family members of citizens affected by natural calamities.
The Amar Nembang Literary Award has already been given to Shravan Mukarung, Prem Ojha, Sharda Subba, Bina Thing, Dr. Govindraj Bhattarai, Veer Nembang, Devi Chhetri Dulal, Munaraj Sherma, Vimala Tumkheva and Giriraj Baskota.
