The play 'Tyo Pheri Farkla?', prepared by Parivarant Theater Jhapa, is going to be staged at the International Theater Festival of Rajasthan, India. The play written by Bhawani Bhikshu was conceived and directed by dramatist Kavita Nepal. A play will be staged on January 21 at the ongoing 'Alwar Rang Mahotsav' in Rajasthan.
A 100-day theater festival organized by Rang Sanskar Theater Group of Rajasthan last It started from December 18. The festival will continue till March 27. Organizers said that more than 100 plays will be staged during this period. Drama groups from India, Nepal and Spain have special participation in the
festival. Even before this play has been staged in Odisha, Kolkata and various places in Nepal. The drama 'Tyo Feri Farkla?' presents Nepali art, customs, culture and reality. In the play, the story of the hill village, the suffering and struggle of the people who leave the village and come to the city are portrayed in a poignant manner. It is believed that this play, which reflects the Nepali lifestyle, will give the international audience a sense of Nepaliness. Kavita Nepal, president of
theater, said that it was a matter of great pride to present the play on the international stage. She expressed her belief that the Indian audience is interested in Nepali culture and this play will fulfill that need. 11 actors will perform for one hour and 45 minutes in the
drama 'Tyo Feri Farkla?' This play is expected to become a milestone in the effort to promote Nepali art and culture at the international level. Kavita Nepal, Lomash Poudel, Ganesh Basnet, Asmit Acharya, Jharna Khanal, Bhavna Gautam, Diksha Marasini, Gagan Chhetri, Angel Niraula, Hilary Portel will play the roles of Gayat.
