The discussion program on poet Arjunbabu Dahal's poetry work 'Hindan Beki Bataharu' has been completed. The discussion program was completed on Thursday under the joint initiative of 'Kalam Ka Saathi' and 'Ayurda Ayurvedic Clinic'.
Senior essayist Yuvraj Nayaghare and senior poet Navraj Lamsal were the chief guests in the event, while deputy professor Chandra Dhakal and poet Bharti Neupane gave critical remarks. Speaking at the
program, critics said that Kriti satirized social inequality and presented a life-affirming opinion. They were of the opinion that the poet has succeeded in giving serious expression in simple language.
Associate professors Nimagna Ghimire and Hem Bhandari and writer Shobha Sharav presented a textual approach to the work. In the program, Puru Lamsal, a professor of Nepal Music and Drama Academy and senior poet Lamsal, shed light on the personality and works of poet Dahal.
Nayaghare praised the poet saying that originality gives life to creation. Geeta Regmi, president of 'Kalamka Saathi', opined that simple poetry plays an important role in the transformation of society. Narrator Anita Koirala, who played the role of
facilitator, highlighted the importance of the work by melodious reading of some of the poems in the work. Apart from being a lyricist and critic, Kavi Dahal is also an Ayurvedic physician and owner of Ayurda Ayurvedic Clinic.
