A book written about Shaligram Sharma, leader of Nepali Congress Chitwan, who is also active in social and cooperative campaigns, 'Shabdchitrama Shaligram Sharma' was released on Wednesday. Congress Central Member Engineer Madhu Acharya released the book at a program held in Bharatpur. The book contains articles, poems and interviews written by 98 different people about Sharma.
Eknarayan Paudel, who is the editor-in-chief of the book, said that various parts of Sharma's personality are covered. V.No. Born in October 2007 in Baglung Balewa, Sharma currently resides in Chitwan. He is the vice president of Congress Chitwan.
Editor-in-Chief Paudel said that he was involved in politics from an early age due to the influence of his father, who was the regional president of Congress in Baglung. It is mentioned in the book that he was the secretary of the student union in the school from 2020 to 2023, a teacher in 2025 after giving SLC, a principal inspector in Syangja in 2030 and an employee of Agricultural Development Bank from 2031 to 2036.
Similarly, the book contains information that he became the secretary and executive director of a non-governmental organization called Participant in the year 2053 and also moved to the social sector and opened the Atharva Savings and Credit Cooperative Society in the year 2056 and was the president for 14 consecutive years.
'Even though he is active in politics, he is a person who does not have the ambition to put his position and personal interest in the center . In addition, his activism and experience in the social and cooperative sector is exemplary for others. Our effort is to make the book about people who have such diverse experiences readable,' said Paudel, the editor-in-chief of the book. The book is published by Umnath Foundation.
