After the national ghazal festival organized by the Kavidanda Sahitya Samaj at Lanku in Chitwan, the 12-point conclusion paper has also been released on Saturday evening. The society organized ghazal debates, discussions and ghazal recital programs with the participation of ghazal experts and other ghazal writers throughout the day. Five senior ghazal artists were also honored on the occasion.

Respecting and accepting the glorious heritage of the Nepali ghazal writing tradition that has developed from the original ghazal writer Motiram Bhatt to the present, the society has issued a conclusion paper in the interest of Nepali ghazal.

Regarding the stylistic diversity of Nepali ghazal writing, it is mentioned in the conclusion paper that various ideas and opinions have come to the surface and one side has put the existence of the other side under question and doubt. But the society has stated that considering the scope of classical and original practice, the depth and weight of the content, the ideas and arguments presented are considered a natural process of freedom and development of the creator.

The society has pointed out the need for initiative and practice of all the initiators and parties in this regard, concluding that the different opinions and misunderstandings that appear from time to time among ghazal writers are created due to the lack of meeting, dialogue, discussion and co-practice. According to classical belief, Bahr and Chand are essential elements of Ghazal, but we accept Bahr and Gaihr-Bahr Ghazal as a priceless asset.  Speaking at the opening event of

festival, ghazal writer Gyanuwakar Paudel said that small things have brought controversy in ghazal. He said that the feeling that ghazals that are not written in verse should not be printed or sung is an extreme thought. "They were shot at for campaigning that women should also be sent to school in Pakistan. Paudel said that those who hold such views in ghazal are also extremists. Deepak Kumar Khadka, while submitting a paper on ghazals at the

program, said that rhythm variety, oral presentation art, are the distinctive features of Nepali ghazals. He also said that Nepali Ghazal is waiting for the expansion of academic theorization. Similarly, Narayan Prasad Sharma Gayre said that Nepali ghazals not only convey love but also include contemporary social consciousness. LB Chhetri, the president of Kavidanda Sahitya Samaj, was of the opinion that there is a need to make a common opinion through a wide discussion, as there are many debates on the

ghazal. Is there a dispute in the ghazal? Is this a dispute about writing ghazal bahr or free writing? Vimati, if you have something, the Kavidanda Sahitya Samaj is ready to hold another big program by keeping the ghazal experts from all over the country at one place.

The ghazal artists who came from different parts of the country to participate in the national ghazal festival also recited ghazals. Kavidanda National Literary Award was also given to senior ghazal writers Gnyanuwakar Poudel, Govindaraj Vinodi, Ghanshyam Sakhari, Bund Rana and Krishnahari Baral.
