Sher-Vishnu Journalism Award to Kantipurkarmi Pariyar
The 141st birth anniversary of poet Shiromani Lekhnath Paudyal was celebrated on Monday at his birth place Pokhara-27 Archle. Under the leadership of Kavi Shiromani Lekhnath Birthplace Development Committee, various organizations celebrated the birth anniversary.
Senior literary researcher Prada Dayaram Shrestha has been awarded with the Lekhnath Literature Prize on his birth anniversary. The amount of the Lekhnath Literary Award, established by the family of Kuntidevi Bhattarai, the youngest daughter of poet Shiromani Lekhnath Paudyal and managed by the Lekhnath Literary Academy, is Rs 50,000.
Writer Saraswati 'Pratiksha' has been awarded by the Kuntidevi Literary Award established in the memory of Kuntidevi Bhattarai. The prize amount is 25 thousand rupees. Folk singer Shivhari Dhungana has been awarded with the Lekhnath Cultural Award established in memory of Chandrakant Dhakal and run by the Lekhnath Literary Academy.
