Awarded Prales Pratibha Award to writer Ghimire

Literary Jhamak Ghimire has been honored with Prales Pratibha Award this year. The award, which will be given by the Central Committee of Progressive Writers Association (PRLES), was distributed on Sunday at Jhamak Niwas Dhankuta-6 Kachinde.

Prales Nepal's Central Vice President Nomra Sharma and Chief Secretary Devi Chhetri Dulal and others presented the award. Ghimire was presented with a certificate of honor and a medal along with 20,100 cash. 

Last October, the award was announced in the presence of former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal, Prales Central President Madhusudan Giri. Vice President of Prales Central Committee Sharma said that the award will be given every year to a person who has made a high contribution to the advancement of progressive literature.  The chief guest of the

award distribution program was Gopal Guragai, President of Jhamak Ghimire Literary and Art Foundation, Chief District Officer Tuvraj Pokharel and others expressed their opinion about the award-winning personality Ghimire.  

Ghimire has recently been undergoing treatment due to health problems. Ghimire received the Madan Award for her work titled 'Jevan Kandaki Phool'. 

Meanwhile, an interaction program on contemporary issues was also organized in the hall of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists organized by Prales Dhankuta.
