The 35th International Maithili Conference and the Sirha Sahitya Sangam have started at the Sirha headquarters. The program started from Friday in the premises of Chandra Sample Secondary School in Siraha.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and human rights leader Krishna Pahadi and others inaugurated the program on Friday afternoon. Special guests from Nepal and India are participating in the program.

This program, which started today, will last for four days. Program coordinator Ramrizhan Yadav informed that the program will be held on Friday and Saturday at Siraha and on Sunday and Monday at Atithi Sadan at Golbazar. In the

program, along with the development and expansion of the Maithili language, there will be a debate and dialogue on the economic, political, social, health, education, agriculture, foreign employment and other topics of Siraha.
