Two hymns sung about Karbakeli Baba, the deity of the Pun community, have been made public. In a program organized by Pun Samaj Nepal in Kathmandu on Tuesday, the hymns titled 'Karbakeli Baba, Timrai Sharanma Chhin' and 'Karbakeli Baba's Blessings' were released.
Ji Pun, Babita Pakhrin and Deepa Tamang's bhajan's musicians are also G. Again. Lyricists are Chin Bahadur Pun and Radha Pun. A music video of the song has also been made. Ji Pun is also the director of the video shot in Kafaldanda.
Both hymns have been combined by social activist Cham Bahadur Pun. Raju Panu, vice president of the society, Cham Bahadur, singer, singer G. Again, writer Prabha Baral, journalist Amrit Bhadgaon and others addressed.
It is memorable, there is a grand shrine of Karbakeli Baba in Annapurna Rural Municipality-8 Kafaldanda of Myagdi. There are full size idols of Karbakeli Baba, Himla, Fimla, Ramchan and Kulchan in Than.
Under the leadership of philanthropist Cham Bahadur, Karbakeli Than, Pun Community Museum, community guest house construction as well as branding of Karbakeli Eco Trek have been done. Therefore, Karbakeli area has been developed as a tourist destination.
