The Khemlal-Harikala Lamichhane Social Welfare Foundation has announced the list of the best five books for the Padma Shri Literary Award-2080.
Five books (short list) out of 15 books included in the best extended list selected in the first round will be announced on Tuesday done Among the best five books are Krishna Gautam's Advaita (novel), Sanu Sharma's Arka Desha (anthology), Roshan Sherchan's Galli Sansar (essay), Kumar Nagarkoti's Jogiana (memoir) and Govinda Prasad Kusum's Bhrikuti (novel), according to a statement issued by the president of the institute, Jeeva Lamichhane.
One of these five books will be given the Padma Shri literature award for the year 2080. The amount of the award is three lakh rupees.
Foundation has been awarding the Padma Shri literature award to the best books published in Nepali literature throughout the year since 2063.
