JB Darlami's novel 'Marikholako Dhungo' has been published. The author Darlami handed over the book to Eva Kafle, who was born in the story period of his novel 'Marikholako Dhungo', and the novel was launched.

Handing over the book to Eva Kafle, who is studying at the undergraduate level in Kathmandu University, was also a symbolic sign that the next era belongs to the new generation, i.e. the generations born and brought up during the armed conflict. 

Eva, who was born when Nepal was in crisis, narrated her and her generation's understanding of the armed conflict as well as her feelings of reading 'Marikhola's Stone' at the release program. Author Darlami, who was sitting in the audience, was wiping tears after listening to the opinion of the new generation about his novel. 

'Even though we are students of sociology, we did not get to read about the war period in the classroom, it is no longer a tradition to tell stories at home,' Eva said while narrating her reading experience, 'How can we build a country that we do not know? Where did we come from? Where are we now? I found the answer to such questions in this novel.'  

Eva, who spent her childhood outside the country due to her parents' education and after returning home, grew up in a time when speaking Nepali was punished in schools, said in the release program, 'I thought I would never be able to read a Nepali book, but the sweet language of this novel called me, took me by the hand, and told me the real heartbeat of our country. Writer JB Darlami, who came to Kathmandu from Butwal for the release of the

book, shared his experience of his childhood and writing journey at Publication Nepalaya's Arshala. 

'Because there is no school near home and because of my own emotional nature that I can't leave my mother, I couldn't even complete my school level,' writer JB Darlami said, 'Maybe it's because I'm not able to read when I'm reading, I have a deep love for words.'

The writer Darlami, who was born in Singkhola of Arghakhanchi, where there is no telephone, road or electricity, shared his experience of writing the novel 'Marikholako Dhungo'. "I thought who would publish a book written in a situation like me, but I was wrong," writer JB Darlami said, "I have honestly written down the time I experienced, saw something and felt something."

Author JB Darlami Literature He writes in both non-literary and non-literary genres. Before this, two of his novels and a research book 'Arghakhanchi on Nepal's politics' have been published. The price of the 134-page 'Marikhola Dhungo' book is 345 rupees.
