Other bacteria and viruses transmitted through both food and water can also cause gastritis in children. Apart from that, acidity can increase due to obesity as stomach acid goes into the esophagus.
What causes gastritis in children?
A bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (ie H pylori) is transmitted through contaminated food and water, which causes gastritis in children. This problem can also occur due to junk food as it has addictive elements such as very greasy, bitter, sour, fat and sugar.
Does food play a role in this or do other factors also cause problems?
Other bacteria and viruses transmitted through both food and water also cause gastritis in children. Apart from that, acidity can increase due to obesity as stomach acid goes into the esophagus. Excessive use of pain relievers, food allergies, physical stress and constant illness also cause acid formation in the stomach.
What precautions should be taken for this?
You should pay attention to a balanced diet containing carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Mixed vegetables, vegetables, green vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk, fish and meat should be eaten in proper quantity. If children are not interested in food, they should not be allowed to eat only milk. Sour-yellow, fried-starved, uncooked food and junk food, many sugary foods, dyed, open and caffeine-containing foods should not be given to children.
What can be the treatment if there is chronic gas?
If gastritis is caused due to H. pylori bacteria, antibiotics and acid-reducing medicines should be used. Other reasons include not feeding a lot of food at one time, giving small amounts of clean food throughout the day, exercising to prevent obesity, staying away from sour-sour, oily food, reducing screen (mobile, TV, laptop, iPad) time, not feeding children with mobile phones, and consulting with an expert should also be done in a continuous follow-up.
What routine should be followed to avoid acidity?
You should wash your hands thoroughly with soap or Dettol water before eating. Only filtered or boiled clean water should be drunk. A diet chart of healthy and nutritious food can also be prepared if the food should be low in sour-bitter and greasy. In it, you can keep a record of what food to eat at what time throughout the week. Children are not very fond of drinking water, they need plenty of water to keep their bodies hydrated, so they need to drink water from time to time.
