Artificial colors can affect the skin, these are the ways to avoid them

Holi, a festival of colors and gaiety, is important for Hindus. On the day of Phagu Purnima, it is celebrated by mixing different colors and exchanging happiness with each other, from children to adults and elders.

But now many types of colors available in the market can be harmful to our skin. It is equally important to protect the skin while celebrating the festival. Different chemicals are used in the colors available in the market now: lake oxide is used in red color, copper sulfate is used in green color, chromium compound is used in yellow color .

which has many effects on our skin, eyes and breathing. Those with sensitive skin may experience allergies, pimples, burning and redness of the face, swelling of the mouth, swelling of the eyes, difficulty breathing and various skin related problems.

The artificial colors available in the market do not only affect the skin, but if they are kept in the body for a long time, they affect the kidneys, liver and other organs as well.

We should use natural colors to protect our skin on Holi without using the colors available in the market . The natural color is made from various flower juices, beetroot juice, turmeric, neem leaves, the use of which does not affect our body and health at all . The color on the skin can also be easily washed off. Taking care of hair and skin during Holi is very important.

These are the ways to avoid chemical dyes

- coconut or olive oil should be applied to the skin and hair, it will reduce the effect of the dye.

- don't stay in the sun for a long time wearing paint.

- If the color does not fade, do not rub it to affect the skin.

- Use clean water when washing the color on the skin, wipe with a clean and soft cloth .

– Moisturizer and sunscreen should be used on the face and body.

- Children and pregnant women should not use artificial colors available in the market while playing Holi.

- If there is any effect on the skin and body, consult a doctor immediately.
