Writer, critic Krishna Baral's new collection of essays 'Natipustaka Khel' has come to readers. Earlier, half a dozen books including stories, novels and essays have been published. His novel 'Time Lost Bela' won the Padma Shri literature award in 2065.

Book-talk with Baral :

Why should grandchildren read your latest book 'Natipustaka Khel'?

It became a topic that had to advertise itself. As if you had to go and hang it on the hoarding board yourself, a bit difficult, difficult, awkward. But listen, in life, not only big things are written, but small things are also written. In 'Grandchildren's Game', I have written about life's trifles, which I actually experienced in the past.

has the honesty to write without rehashing your past. I have poured into the essay without covering the ugly, embarrassing, regretful and joyful, achievement, failure, lack, perfection and extraordinary moments that I have experienced. I have also written about my adventures, adventures and writing careers. Therefore, it is read not only by grandchildren, but by all generations.

You started writing from the essay, got lost in the narrative, and came back to the essay. What fascination is this in an essay?

does not mean going back and forth in literature. I like listening to poetry, reading stories and novels, and writing essays. It does not seem that there are any genres of literature that are big and some are small. After writing a novel, I have never gone back to writing an essay. Now I am preparing for poetry collection. I have found a wide space to write about my feelings in the essay.

You critique Leela's writing. How does Leela criticism differ from popular criticism? How is it criticism to burn or tear down a work?

Leela criticism does not seem to be obsolete. Definitions of criticism are changing and will continue to change. It is important to discuss the use of writing. When world literature has reached the age of post-modernity, it seems that Nepali literature should also be measured. How far we have come in modernity, the desire to escape is awakening. While desiring in this way, there is an attempt to create a formula to see perfection by breaking down ideas, beliefs and beliefs.

We learned the fun writing technique of the writing technique at the beginning. This is also how the Leela critique is viewed. See, first, in the year 2054, 055, Indra Bahadur Rai in the work called 'Arthawaru Akhaltir', comparing Bhagwat's Prahlad, Balakrishna Sam's Prahlad and Jagadish Shamsher Rana's Narasimha Avatar, did a mythical study of Vairagi Kaila's poem 'Savatko Baila Utsav', which is strange but strange from the point of view. Has given an interesting critical presentation.

About burning or tearing up a work I said that burning or tearing up a work in public without understanding a work from a readership or disagreeing with the ideas of that work is a critical criticism. In 'Leela, Talk and Refugee', the opinion of the writer who expressed the opinion that Krishna Dharawasi's novel 'Sharanarthi' should be burned by Bhutanese refugees has also found a place. Therefore, critical or rebellious consciousness can also be considered as criticism. Do you say that life is a game of survival in

'grandchildren's game'? How to express this philosophy in writing? I am not trying to go to the side of

theory, theory or philosophy, if you go this way, one day you will reach an insurmountable wall and fall down. As life is experienced, literature is also written. It is the feeling of hearing, seeing and experiencing that is written in literature. In the literary journey there is no exploration of absolute neotruth, no realization. As long as you live, you will tell the story, after you die, others will tell you what to say. There was no way to know what was beyond death. So let's play the game of living through life.

says your language is stuck. It is alleged that sentences that do not make sense have been created by misplacing words. Is the ground you stand on is the dialect?

When you try to write and communicate what you feel, language alone is not enough. Some words have to be broken or constructed when presented graphically in writing. How many sentences have to be broken even when trying to make a sentence broken. How many verbs do we do when we speak, wave our hands, furrow our brows, wink our eyes, nod our heads, and utter a sentence?

We think that is well communicated. But how to show those actions when sending the same thing in writing? For example, we wrote the sentence 'How long ago Lata was sitting and laughing in the sunny courtyard', 'Lata in the courtyard'. Even when trying to write as spoken, the sentence breaks. After reading one sentence, the meaning will not be clear without reading the next sentence. In this way, after we used the language, there were accusations of corrupting the language. However, we did not think that this is the only ground that will stand us up.
