Watched the Nepali movie, the story of the hills, the characters are only hills! He also belongs to the mountains. Why add the story of another hill? After 22 years, while making the film, we wanted to find some new story - the missing girl notification,' said director Dipendra Gauchan one morning.

Madhesh has actually been found in 'Girl Missing Information'. And, this film is really a notice of meeting Madhesh, which has beautifully narrated the story of Madhesh. The main character in the film is Ramvaran (Rambo) i.e. Madhesi character Ram. Director Dipendra wanted to show two different characters in a simple love story. Hills and Madhesh look different at a glance. The pair of mountains and Madhesi are rare, why is this happening? To show that love can happen even between two different characters, Dipendra made 'Girl Missing Notice'. This film, which is being shown, is now famous for the Madhesh issue raised through the love story between these two different characters. 

It would have been easier to show Dipendra, but to show the character of the Thakali community. He himself belongs to Thakali community. However, if you look at the Thakali community, the idea that you should marry within your own community is widespread. The idea that love can flourish and marriage can happen even between different communities established the character of Pahad and Madhesh.

Madhesh movement, the strained relationship between Madheshis in the hills - Dipendra has been struggling for a long time on these issues of Madhesh. Is it necessary to put Madhesh case in a normal love story? A love story could have been shown without playing the Madhesh songs by making the two lovers sing 'la la la' to some melodious music. However, Dipendra's intellectual mind did not allow him to do so. Most Nepali films do not show character depth. Which community does a character belong to? His past, thoughts, intentions are not clear. Dipendra kept a Madhesi in the film, the Madhesh movement was added when the depth of the character was explored. Ram is a character who moved to Kathmandu after leaving Thatathal because of the Madhesh movement. Ram got his higher education in Kathmandu. Became an IT engineer. But, has Kathmandu really become a place for him to experience his own land? Whenever the female character in the film Sita (Jessie) expresses her curiosity by showing the burnt houses, then Ram's wounds are healed when he is chased away. The truth of why Ram is in Kathmandu is revealed in the loving conversation between the two characters. From this scene of budding love between the two, the director explores the painful history of those chased by the Madhesh movement. 

Many advised Dipendra not to touch this issue. Dipendra was also afraid. He wanted to convey this pain of Madhesh to the audience. This is the meaning of the film, it is not even raised that this is the issue. My knowledge and studies are not enough for that. Some have said that the issue of Madhesh has only been shown superficially,' Dipendra says, 'If we wanted to raise the same issue, we would have worked in the same way. We have only touched on that topic, so that the audience remembers that issue. Our intention is that after this matter is raised, everyone will have experience, be aware of the issue and move forward towards reconciliation.' 

Ram's Meet Ba Pahad, they were chased by Madheshis during the agitation. Rama's father also had to give up when he took the side of the mountain. By mixing similar complex issues of Madhesh in the background of the love of two young women, director Gauchan has tried to make the strained relationship between Pahade and Madheshi fair. The love and union between the two is also its biggest reflection. It would have happened even if this case had not been touched. However, this topic made the love story intense and intensive,' said Dipendra. 

The Madhesh movement is a sensitive issue. When this kind of sensitive topic is raised in Nepali films, not much attention is paid to its essence and feelings. However, director Gauchan tried to approach this issue sensitively. People representing Madhesh were consciously included in the construction team. Be sensitive not only on the screen but also behind the screen. On the screen, Nazir Hussain is the main character, and many actors from Vilas are from Madhesh. Except Sita's father and mother, most of the actors are Madhesi. According to Dipendra, more and more people from Madhesh are used behind the camera. Due to the sensitivity of these people and the production team, the scent of Madhesh has been included in the film to a large extent. 

The executive producer of this film is Amitesh Shah. The film has choreography by Rajeev Karna, music composition by Pravesh Malik. From song writing to background music, Madhesh is also represented. Madhesi people are also involved in art. "Films could have been shot and made in Janakpur by lifting all the hills from Kathmandu. But, we collaborated like this to show the story in the right way. Working behind the scenes is another intellectual task. We searched for it, we met with those people," Dipendra said, "This film is not a film made with the intention of raising this issue. This film is not activism either. We resorted to a love story to bring reconciliation between Madhesh and Pahade.'

As soon as he came to know about the issue of Madhesh, Katti said to Dipendra, 'There may be a riot between Madhesh and Pahade again.' As a filmmaker, he could not ignore this issue. His creative nature did not allow him to turn a blind eye to this issue of the society. Because, he knew – the film should create a debate on such issues in the society. Filmmakers will not do justice. But what was the situation of the two sides on the issue? The movement can show how their relationship is strained. After watching the film, how many Pahades accused Dipendra - turn it around and make us look wrong. Dipendra is now reveling in the debates, interactions and reactions that the film has created.

People who come from the mountains like Madhesh, everyone likes seeing something new than what they have been seeing. The scenes I saw at that time are shown in the film,' Gauchan remembers the past. Before the Madhesh movement, he reached Madhesh and was attracted by the simplicity of the people there, the sight of children riding on buffaloes, the twilight evening, the setting sun, and the scenery until the eyes could see. He presented the same Madhesh beauty in Manaspatal in the film. The colorful colors of Madhesh, the dress that Sita wears as soon as she reaches Madhesh is an image. The production team could have shown the beautiful scene of the setting sun with glitter. However, Dipendra says that they removed the most beautiful and glamorized scenes of Madhesh from the film. They put only simple scenes in the film. Scenes of nets thrown in ponds, women walking with luggage on their heads are kept in the film, where the whole Madhesh picture is painted. Madhesh is as beautiful as it is. It was meant to show why it is beautiful with a dazzling scene. The natural scenes that are necessary for the story have been kept,' Dipendra said, 'Glamorized scenes would have made the film more filmy.' 

In this film, the character of Madhesh has been empowered by rising above the stereotype. An attempt has been made to destroy the traditional character shown by Nepali films. Ram character gives a smooth ride in this film. He is a well-educated boy, speaks clear Nepali and has not forgotten his language. This hero is completely different from action hero Rambo. Smart, educated too. Earlier, Nepali films used the Madhesi character only for jokes and comedy. However, this kind of use of Ram character has satirized the stereotype. 

The story of this film starts from Gauchan's class. All of his students, who grew up watching action hero movies. They used to write the script of the film in the same way. Gauchan put two characters in a room for half an hour to practice writing a story, one day. Students could not try. The student says that if two characters spend a long time in the same room, it makes for a scary movie.  However, they wrote stories imagining the same situation. Dipendra also conceptualized the 'Girl Missing Notice' from the same class.
