Under the President's Women Empowerment Program (National Women Empowerment Project), 905 women, including 60 pregnant and postpartum women, who were in danger of dying in remote areas, have been air-rescued until Falgun of the current fiscal year.

The highest number of rescued women is 302 from Karnali Province, while the lowest number is 19 from Lumbini Province. Similarly, the survey shows that 279 women have been rescued in Koshi, 125 in Bagmati, 44 in Gandaki, and 136 in the Far West.
