Health Minister Dr. Gautam inspects BP Foundation hospital

Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Gautam has monitored and inspected the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. She said that she came to Dharan on Tuesday to understand the problems of the institute and to inspect and monitor it.

She said that the priority of the government formed by the Gen-G movement is to build a corruption-free country and strengthen the systems. She said, 'The main goal of this government formed by the Gen-G movement is to build a corruption-free country and improve the state systems. Since the health system is also a major one, I have come to understand the problems here, inspect them and prepare for the Senate meeting.'

She said that she is inspecting hospitals across the country with the aim of ensuring that the people get good service, do not suffer, and do not face unnecessary inconvenience. She informed that she has already inspected hospitals in Lumbini Province and will now closely monitor the condition of federal hospitals across the country.

She said that her goal is to improve all areas of health, including strengthening medical education, improving hospitals, and improving insurance. She clarified that other health-related programs including mental health programs and workers' health programs will also be taken forward.

Minister Gautam, who arrived at the institute around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, was welcomed by the institute officials.
