The new executive committee of the Nepal Arthroscopy Association has been unanimously elected.
The new working committee led by Dr. Naveen Karna was elected unopposed for a two-year term (2025-27) at the association's convention held in Kathmandu on Friday.
According to the main election commissioner Dr. Sudipman Vaidya and member Dr. Amin Shrestha, Karna has been elected as the president, Rajiv Raj Manandhar as the vice-president, Nirav Kayastha as the general secretary, Rajiv Sharma as the treasurer, and Naveen Tripathi as the joint secretary.
Similarly, the members include Subash Gurung, Sudip Khanal, Subash Lal Karna, Ram Kumar Yadav, and Mohit Thapa Magar.
The previous president Dr. Amit Joshi handed over the responsibility to the new working committee, Election Commission member Dr. Shrestha informed.
The association's press release states that Chandra Bahadur Mishra was elected as the president from the convention to take over the responsibility after the next two years.
