Minister of Health and Population Dr. Sudha Gautam has said that the services of Bir Hospital are no less than those of any private hospital. Minister Gautam, who visited the hospital on Monday, stated that the services of Bir Hospital are no less than those of any other hospital and urged everyone to avail the services with confidence.
Minister Gautam claimed that the service of Bir Hospital was no less than that of other hospitals, even based on his long-standing medical knowledge.
'The old Bir Hospital, which had served for so many years, had become a bit tired and old, like a patient. It has also risen a little bit like the new generation and provided good service. Therefore, there is an environment here where all of you can receive services with confidence,' said Minister Gautam.
Minister Gautam said that she had also thought of building a building on land in Duwakot, Bhaktapur to expand the service of Bir Hospital. She said that there is also a need to expand the capacity of provincial hospitals.
