First International Conference on Mini-PCNL in Kathmandu

International mini-PCNL workshop and conference has started for the first time in Nepal. The international conference on 'Mini PCNL', the cutting-edge technology for removing kidney stones, has started in Kathmandu from Saturday.

Organized by Khadgi Institute of Endourology (Arus Lifestyle Hospital), more than 200 specialist doctors, urologists, researchers and healthcare workers from more than 40 countries are participating in this conference. In the program, there will be discussions related to direct surgery, dialogue and urology by mini-PCNL method. 

This first international mini-PCNL conference held in Nepal is seen as an important step to establish Nepal on the world urology map. Participating experts described it as 'a shining example of Nepal's medical capabilities and international cooperation'. 

Khadgi Institute of Endourology Medical Director and Senior Urologist Dr. Sanjay Khadgi said that this conference is an important achievement in Nepal's medical history. Dr. Mini PCNL technology is a cutting-edge and low-risk surgical technique in the field of urology. Khadgi said. Khadki, 14 kidney stone patients will undergo live surgery during the workshop and conference. Khadki said that 8 of them were successfully completed on Saturday. Senior physician Prof. Dr. Jagdishlal Vaidya, who was present as the chief guest at the

program, thanked the organizers of the conference and said that it was a proud work for Nepal. He said that this conference provided an opportunity to increase experience and expand professional friendship between academics and health workers. Addressing the program, he said - 'This is a very proud program for Nepal. This has given a golden opportunity for Nepal to expand relations and friendship with the international community in the field of health.

German urologist Prof. Dr. Sven Lamming also supported Vaidya's words and said that this is a matter of pride for Nepal. "Mini-PCNL technique is one of the most challenging yet effective surgical procedures in the field of urology." Dr. Prashant K. Patnaik, an Indian physician, said that Nepal is moving towards becoming a leading platform for urology technology. Similarly, British physician Dr. Subu Subramaniam expressed his gratitude for the preparation of the conference, the surgical performance and the Nepali hospitality and said that he considered it as a 'beautiful combination of science and collaboration'.

Likewise, the president of Nepal Medical Association, Dr. Anil Bahadur Karki, expressed his belief that such a conference will bring Nepal's medical reputation to the world stage. He said, 'Even a small country like Nepal has given hope to many people with such a proud conference. It has given a very good message on the international stage. President Karki said that this program is expected to further increase the participation of new urologists. program will continue for the whole day on Sunday. Under 14 live surgeries, there will be 6 live surgeries on Sunday. Similarly, it is said that expert doctors, urologists, researchers and health workers present from different countries will discuss and find solutions to the problems in this matter.
