The health insurance program will be restructured. In view of the fact that the National Health Insurance Program has almost failed, it has been said in the budget speech that the effective implementation of the legal system of health insurance will be carried out by improving it.

The budget has promised to increase the benefits of the insured under the National Health Insurance. Similarly, it is mentioned in the budget speech that various social health security programs will be integrated into health insurance for the effectiveness of the health insurance program and sustainable economic management. 

In addition, it is said that the policyholders will be provided with the facility of choosing different policies and duplication will be removed to prevent abuse of insurance facilities. The budget speech has also claimed that leakages in insurance will be controlled and institutional reforms and discipline will be maintained. 

Insurance facilities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, Dalits, extremely poor and minority communities will be continued. 10 billion has been allocated for the health insurance program. Similarly, it is said that the pending payment claim amount will be verified by a third party in this financial year.
