The Ministry of Finance has disbursed an additional 3.84 billion rupees for health related programs including payment of health insurance.

Based on the demand of the Ministry of Health and Population, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has decided to release the amount. 

which includes 3 billion rupees to the Health Insurance Board, 600 million rupees for the treatment of senior citizens and 24 million rupees to Shaheed Gangalal National Heart Center for free treatment of heart disease patients.
