The Ministry of Health has formed a draft committee to prepare guidelines for the care, treatment and prevention of children with autism, a disability caused by the decline in nerve and nerve development.

According to the ministry, the committee will study autism prevention issues and give suggestions within a month. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, informed that the committee will also prepare a blueprint for cooperation with government and non-government organizations working in the field of autism. According to the 2078 census of Nepal, the number of people with autism is 4,884.
