New central working committee of Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA) has been selected for 2081-83. A 15-member central committee was formed from the 11th convention of the association

Samid Katila Shrestha was selected as president, Shyamsunder Yadav as vice president and Dr. Manju Gyawali as female vice president. have been Similarly, Suvarna Thapa Chhetri has been elected as the general secretary, Janendra Jha as the secretary, Sujit Kumar Yadav as the treasurer and Omprakash Shah as the co-treasurer. 

Sougat Shrestha, Ujjwal Dotel, Tenzing Norbu Lama, Dheeraj Shrestha, Umashankar Shah, Srijana Luintel as women member, Kaushal Das as tribal member, Naveen Kumar Jaiswal as Madhesi member were selected as working committee members. Naveen Sapkota, Sujit Jha, Sakuna Dani, Jairam Maharjan and Avinash Lamsal have been selected as members of the National Council, according to the election committee. 

It is said that there are 3,000 physiotherapists in the country and about 1,100 members are members of the union.  The election was held online.
