Nine years ago, Tiktok became a friend to Megha when she was going through a difficult time after losing both her hands in an accident. By reaching common people through that, she has become a source of inspiration for others. "Tiktok is what made me happy," says Megha, "If it wasn't for this platform, I don't know where I would be today."
In December 2072, Megha was working on the roof of a house, her hand suddenly collided with a high-tension electric wire. A current of 33,000 volts ran through the ceiling. The shock of it made him jump. The current burned both his hands. During the treatment, the hand had to be amputated. "There was a five-stone metal bangle in her hand, it hit the high-tension wire and got electrocuted," she said.
When she returned home after cutting her hand from the hospital, she could not gather the courage to go out for a long time. But with the help and encouragement of her brother, she started going out of the house. When she started using Tik Tok, she started to forget the pain. During the lockdown due to the Corona epidemic, his attention turned to Tiktok. "There was a lockdown, pain was added to the pain, I made Tiktok as a friend to calm my mind and be happy," said Megha, "Tiktak got to know me in a short time."
During the lockdown, Megha was active in Tiktok and participated in the song competition. Megha was the first to win a prize of Rs. She was fond of dancing since childhood. She has demonstrated that talent in Tiktok. Many people started 'liking' this different ability of his. She was getting excited. "It makes me very happy to hear that many people like me have gained courage after watching the video," said Megha. Megha got married shortly before the
incident. After losing both hands, her relationship with her husband also deteriorated. After being uncooperative from her husband, she chose the path of divorce. Now she lives in Mait. When she lost her hand, Megha was preparing for re-examination as she had failed in one subject in SLC. After the
incident, she could not write and give the test herself. She took the exam with the help of a friend. She also wrote and passed Plus Two with the help of others. After that, his studies stopped completely. "I couldn't while I wanted to read," she said.
Megha has become independent by earning from Tiktok. In the beginning, the parents had to feed the food, the brother used to wash the mouth. Gradually she started doing her own work. Now she does her own make-up before doing Tiktok. She takes her mother's help to dress. "Even if I don't have hands, I want to be independent and live happily," she said.
