At the 8th Xtreme Energy Radio Kantipur National Music Awards 2082, Nhyoo Bajracharya received the award for Best Music Director. Bajracharya won the award for the song 'Kasto Nasha' during Radio Kantipur's 28th anniversary celebration held at Plaza in Pulchowk on Friday.

In the Best Composer category, Bajracharya competed alongside Rajanraj Shiwakoti for 'Jharile Katai', Gaire Suresh for 'Bujhne Manche', Reshma Pun for 'Mayaka Geet', and Kabindra Tamang for 'Saath Kahilesamma'.

Bajracharya's musical journey began in the 2040s B.S. He formally started his musical career with the song 'Kati Kati Manka Kurabata' sung by Prakash Shrestha. His composed songs 'Sayad Timro Batoma', 'Orali Lagyo Harinko Chal Bho', and 'Hasne Rahar Jindagile' remain equally popular even today.  

His composition for 'Sayathari Baja Eutai Taal' is another unique achievement in his life. Recently, he has also been active as a judge on the 'Nepal Idol' reality show.
